“Who on earth are Lizard?”

Hailing from Liverpool, Lizard are harsh but soft, classic but cutting, smooth but… Scaly? They draw influences from all - from the complexities of Jazz and Soul legends like Curtis Mayfield and Nina Simone, to the energetic, driving swagger of bands like Queens of the Stone Age and Franz Ferdinand. With this combination, the four craft sounds unlike any others before them.

The band formed in early 2018, and consists of Noah Ottman (keys, vocals), James Harvey (Drums), Jak Petch (guitar) and James Weatherley-Buss (bass).

When they are performing live, they are an unstoppable force from the moment they walk on stage to the final drum hit, bringing enough energy to stop a bank of komodo dragons in their tracks. Many a venue has witnessed the way their sound seeps into pores and rattles eye sockets.
